I believe Neopets is a game and an "escape" for people of all ages.  It is a great way to relax, make friends, and have some fun especially when "real life" becomes to stressful.  Our guild was created especially for those looking for those things.  Even though Neopets is full of people who like to cause trouble, scammers, spammers, and many other types of confused people, our guild is a place for generosity and help.  It may sound too good to be true but it is the complete truth.  We may be small but we attract people who generally want to make Neopets a fun experience.  THAT alone is the goal of our guild. 

 

 

How our guild began:

 

Our guild began because I learned what people wanted.  Let me explain...I have been playing Neopets practically since it's existence and I have experienced many things.  It took me a long time to find a guild that I liked.  ALL guilds wanted donations and I never saw why but we will go into that a bit later.  After searching for what seemed like ages, I finally found a guild that was active, had friendly members, played games...you name it! It was a GREAT guild and I felt honored to be a part of it.  Unfortunately, ALL of council became inactive and there were times where we didn't see any of them for 3 months!  We were lost because no one had power but council.  Then I met a wonderful member named postman who stepped up and made the guild great again. He taught me how to run a successful guild and I give all credit to him. Unfortunately, he and his wife became ill and the guild plummeted.  I decided to break my ties and start our wonderful guild! Thankfully, many members such as our co-founder, tlc322, followed.

 

 

When I first started Neopets, there were no help sites such as tineneohelp and pinkpoogletoy.  I paid a LOT of NP to find out secrets of Neopia...even things as trivial as the location of the Hidden Tower.  When I became more familiar with Neopets, I became angry at how I'd been taken advantage of.  I decided that the things I knew should be shared with others for FREE! I also wanted a place where ppl could be together and have fun without begging and share their knowledge of Neopets.  Never in my dreams did I think the generosity would spread as it has through our guild. :)  Therefore, through our knowledge, everyone's generosity, especially council, the fun we all have, and the secrets we share, there is no need for donations in our guild!

 

 

 

You certainly do!  The guild I was in before had all of council doing everything.  Don't get me wrong...There is a lot to be done for a successful guild and council freely gives of their time to get things done but they do not make all of the decisions.  In my other guild, only council had any control at all. So when they left, the essence of the guild left with them.  I believe we all give to the guild so we should all receive as well.  If ANY member, regardless of rank, requests something helpful for the guild, it will be done if at all possible.  When there are certain decisions to be made, EVERY guild member has a say.

 

 

 

Well, someone has to make sure things run smoothly! :) Council are people who volunteer their time and NP to help all of us become better Neopians, make more NP, join in on the guild functions....I could go on forever.  There are MANY things that have to be done to make a successful guild.  It takes many dedicated ppl to pull this off.  Each council member has their own job and they are also there to make decisions on surprises for the guild, and any decisions that could not or should jnot be presented to the entire guild with a fair solution.

 

 

Basically, although it is very unorthodox, this guild was actually created to simply help people.  We are very protective of our guild because we are easily taken advantage of due to the generosity but if you simply relax, make a few friends, and join in the fun, you will have the best Neopian experience that I've ever seen from a guild!  Thanks goes to every single member who simply wants to help. :)
