The portal includes: Customizable themes, quick links, a calendar, information on your active neopet, neopian weather in all lands, polls, a quick text-based version of Neopia's latest News/ Real World News/ The Neopian Times/ The Featured Game, your neofriends list including a feature that lets you view when your friends were last visiting neopets.com, webmail and neomail, a live ticking NEODAQ, site stats, a calculator, as well as a few real world tools including stocks, movie listings, directions, and more! All of these features are customizable so you can have as many or as few of these features on hand as you wish.

Super wiz

The Super Wiz works similiar to the regular Shop wizard but the Super Wiz searches ALL Neopian shops and lists shops by the cheapest price. So, instead of refreshing to find the cheapest price like with the regular Shop Wiz, you automically see the cheapest price in Neopia.

There are certain restrictions to the Super wiz. You cannot search for certain items such as secret laboratory map pieces, paintbrushes, or nerkmids. If you try to search for a restricted item, you will get a message saying that you cannot search for that type of item on the Super Wiz.

You may have unlimited searches on the Super Wiz if you want to see the price only, but if you wish to have the shop owner's name, the amount of searches are limited, just like the regular Shop Wizard.

Webmail

You will be given a webmail account that works just like an e-mail account. Your address would be "your username" at neopets.com. For example, mine is sczoomommy@neopets.com.

It comes with emoticons, a spell checker, html formatting, access from your portal, 100MB of Storage for your Inbox, Send/receive up to 10MB of Attachments, parental controls, and spam protection.

Premium Neoboards

When you are a Premium member, you will be allowed to access neoboards for Premium Members ONLY!

These boards consist of Help & Newbies, Main Hall, and Spotlights & Games. Once you have been a Premium member for 3 months, you will be allowed to access the Premium Charter Members board.

Beta Test Games

As a premium neopets member you are allowed to beta test many new features and games before they are released to the general public. Not only will you get an advance look at Neopian projects that are still being created, but you'll also have an opportunity to participate in the development process, as your testing and feedback play an important role in determining how the final product turns out.

Space Faerie Scratchies

Every Friday you will receive a Space Faerie scratchcard in your webmail. It can, of course, be accessed through your portal. This scratch card is not an item that you can sell or trade. It is only for your use. You simply rub your mouse over the squares until you get 3 like signs. EVERY card is a winner. Prizes include: 250np, 300np, 500np, 2000np, Space Faerie Plushie, Space Faerie Keychain, Space Faerie Pen, Space Faeries Shield, Space Faerie Tales, Space Faerie Beanbag, Neocola tokens, and the coveted Orbulon.

SHH

"Something Has Happened" is always fun to see and Premium gives you even more SHH events! These appear in your webmail inbox (accessable from your portal) and although it's random, it seems the more you use your portal, the more chances you have at a SHH. In my experience, accessing the portal briefly every day, I receive one approximately every other day. Sometimes it's more NP and sometimes I win the lottery which gives me NP and an item. Nifty lil feature!

No Banner Ads

One of my favorite features of the service, both the top banner ads and the bottom ads are completely removed from your Neopets experience! Cruise the site completely ad free!!

Stealth

Usint the portal, you are allowed to see when your neofriends were last online or if they are currently online. In the same token, you have the option to go "Stealth". This is the same as making yourself invisible, not allowing your neofriends to see when you are or were online. I'm not a huge fan of this feature because why would you want to hide? lol However, you're still given the option.

Avatars

This avatar used to be activated through sending a neomail with the message "I love neomail" and can even now be found randomly when neomailing so you might already have it. If not, the neomail addict avatar is now yours to use freely! No, you do not loose this avatar if you cancel premium.

You receive this avatar for referring 4 people who subscribe to Premium. If you cancel Premium, you will lose this avatar and if you resubscribe on the same account you will get it back.

Neopets Premium Service is still in it's beta testing phase. This means that it signing up is temporarily restricted until it is officially opened to the public. Yes, beta testers still must pay for the service as will everyone else when it is open to the public.

Option 2: Send an email to techsupport@neomail.com with your address and the last four digits of the card number you used to sign up for the account, telling them you wish to cancel, they'll reply with a confirmation code. Be sure to send the email from your Premium Webmail address so they can verify that you're the owner of the account. Please Note that this option should only be used as a last resort. At times, it can take a long time for the support staff to get to your email. Some staff members may want more information, some may cancel your service without confirmation and others may claim that you cannot cancel in this way.

Option 3: Chat with a live support representative and explain that you would wish to cancel your subscription. Have your billing information handy for verification. They will refer you to the toll free number but if you are persistent than they can help you through the live chat.

Each of these services comes with an initial 15-Day-Trial period. During this period you get a chance to experience all that premium has to offer free of charge!

WARNING Neopets will not alert you when your trial period is up and will automatically bill your account. It is up to you to keep track of the time and cancel if you do not wish to continue.

Accepted forms of payment are a major credit card, Paypal, or bank transfer. I have been using my Paypal account and have experienced no problems.

Most of us know that premium neopets will be open to the public in only a matter of time. We are simply beta testers of a service that while hopefully generate enough revenue to keep the site going and free for everyone who chooses to play for free.

As a step in that direction, neopets has enabled a referral program, giving veteran premium members 20 referral spots so that they might invite friends or other users to join in the premium experience.

You and your referrals must both complete your 14 day trial and continue as a Neopets Premium Member before receiving any referral awards.
