Caring for your pets is an essential part of playing the site. Although your pets will not die, neglecting them can be very horrible for them and you! If you do not feed your pet, it can begin to starve, it will be unable to fight in the battle dome, it can get sick, or even change to a basic color such as red or blue causing you to lose many neopoints that you may have spent on an expensive paint brush. The same holds true if you do not play with them.

You can check your pets hunger or mood on your quick reference page. You can get there by simply clicking your active pet's name at the top right-hand side of any page.

There are certain foods that you may feed your pet that will instantly fill it up. For example, feeding a Kau any milk product will instantly make him/her full. I am currently working on a list of foods for certain pets and I will add it here as soon as I have enough information.

In the meantime, there are many cheap foods to feed your pets such as omelettes (you can get a free one daily in Terror Mountain), and don't forget about  Musho Mushy Peas, Box of Trifle Mix, Half-Eaten Berry, Can of Prune Juice, Semolina, Dandelion and Burdock Drink, Brown Sauce, Faerie Cake, and even some of the gross foods. Just be careful because some pets actually have allergies to some of these foods.

If you have less than 2,000 NP, you can also visit the Soup Kitchen and they can be completely fed there.

If you pet becomes ill, go to the hospital to find the cure for his/her illness. If you cannot afford the cure, visit the healing springs often and your pet will eventually be healed there. Just remember that your pet cannot fight in the battledome if they are ill or hungry.

Don't forget to visit the Mirinda Stand and the Pepsi stand daily to keep your pets from getting hungry. You can find quick links to those by clicking on the "freebies" page of our guild front or also by using the "Freebies" link on the toolbar of this web site.
